Weddings and Events at Blackburn HouseGo Back to: News and Events Wed 26th Mar 2008 Blackburn House (formerly known as Boughton Pumping Station) now has a licence to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies. Originally built in 1907 the extensively redeveloped Edwardian Grade II listed building is set in an idyllic location with beautiful surrounding gardens. The largest of its function rooms is in the atrium of the building and is an impressive space that holds up to 120 people. Blackburn House also offers a range of services for many different types of event, from wedding receptions to parties covering every occasion including: birthdays, anniversaries and christenings. We can tailor an event to meet your specific requirements and there are a number of packages available which include:

"When it comes to events we want our customers to feel that theirs is unique, we can work with the customer and our varied client base to ensure that we tailor a package to suit their every need. To launch weddings and events at Blackburn House we are having an open day in the Blackburn Suite on Sunday 20th April 2008, this will be the chance for you to come and view the facilities and talk to one of our event organisers about your event" The open day will run from 10.00am - 5.00pm and visitors interested will be required to book out allocated 30 minute slots to have a tour of the wedding facilities along with the opportunity to sit down afterwards with a member of the events team to discuss their requirements, there is a hot drink or free glass of bubbly included!
